Ellos vivieron en un tiempo de la historia conocido como la Rebeli\u00f3n de los B\u00f3xers. Este libro fue escrito por Rosalind Goforth quien junto a su esposo fueron misioneros canadienses en China de 1887 a 1934. Durante ese periodo, tuvieron once hijos (cinco de los cuales murieron como beb\u00e9s o muy peque\u00f1itos), pasaron por persecuciones y dificultades y testificaron grandes moveres del Esp\u00edritu de Dios, trayendo convicci\u00f3n, arrepentimiento y conversiones.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>\u201cC\u00f3mo s\u00e9 que Dios responde a la oraci\u00f3n\u201d narra eventos que son reales y tuvieron lugar en la vida de personas como usted y yo, personas comunes y corrientes que solo les mov\u00eda una pasi\u00f3n: \u201cganar almas y llevarlas al cielo\u201d.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Fui motivada tambi\u00e9n al ver la escasez biogr\u00e1fica de mujeres misioneras en el mundo, ver la mirada femenina, de mujer, de esposa, de madre en misiones, esperando les motive a seguir adelante en cada \u00e1rea que servimos al Se\u00f1or.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Necesitamos que el Se\u00f1or levante personas que vean el peligro y la gran necesidad que hay a nuestro alrededor, y que no reposen tranquilos hastas que hayan alcanzado a muchos perdidos.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Hacemos en oraci\u00f3n este clamor:<br class=\"html-br\" \/>\u201cSe\u00f1or, por favor levanta hombres y mujeres llenos de tu gracia, consagrados, llenos de convicci\u00f3n y ten misericordia de nosotros para que Chile sea para Cristo y las naciones se postren delante de ti y todos reconozcan que s\u00f3lo T\u00fa eres el Se\u00f1or, s\u00f3lo T\u00fa eres el Alt\u00edsimo y que gobiernas sobre todos\u201d.<br class=\"html-br\" \/>Queremos ser movidos como bien escribi\u00f3 Leonard Ravenhill mientras haya personas muriendo sin esperanza, sin salvaci\u00f3n, sin Salvador.
